Pinterest Challenge #4: Decorating

This last category is decorating.  I am not good at decorating at all!  I probably would be better at it if I weren’t so frugal, but I just can’t seem to let myself spend a lot of money buying things that seem frivolous, even though they make the house beautiful–like candles, pillows, artwork. . .

I’m working on it though!  Here is a cute decorating idea that was very inexpensive.  The inspiration came from EllenJay’s.

I did it a little differently.  I bought some 1-foot cork squares at Staples (on sale) and cut them into fourths.  I decided to use five squares for this project.  I covered them with leftover material using a glue gun.  I bought the raffia string and tiny clothes pins on sale at Joann’s.

My little guy is going to move into his own room soon.  This is on his bedroom wall.
