Welcome to I Choose Joy!

My name is Gena, and I’m a homeschooling mom of 8 children, ages 12 and down. My wonderful husband of almost 15 years is also my best friend! I love learning and reading, singing and playing the piano, sewing and crafting, and, most of all, my Lord Jesus! I love encouraging others in their walks as homeschoolers and Christians, providing tips for homemaking (esp. recipes, sewing, and crafting), and sharing about our everyday life! My hope is that by joining me here you will be able to choose joy! !
