    I learned that: Bright colors have not been proven to attract adult mosquitoes, but strong smells like perfumes, scented soaps, and lotions do. Standing water sources and hot exhaled gases also attract mosquitoes.

    I learned that yellow light is better than blue to not attract mosquitos

    The quiz showed me that mosquitoes can breed even in 1 inch deep standing water, better scour my area for that.

    I thought bug spray was sufficient…it said it starts wearing off immediately and to reapply vigilantly. YUCK!!!! Also said that only female mosquitoes bite and they use the protein from your blood to create eggs…double YUCK!!!!

    Mosquitoes are attracted to adults more than children.

  11. I learned that both male and female mosquitoes need sugar. And blood is use later for egg production.

  12. I learned that mosquitoes like the more CO2 in the adult’s blood over the kid’s.

  13. I learned there were a lot of places I did not think about checking for standing water.
