One Small Donkey children's book review and giveaway

We have a wonderful collection of Christmas books in our home, and it’s so fun to take them out every December and read through them all month. Here is a new book to add to our collection! One Small Donkey: A Christmas Story by Dandi Daley Mackall.

Be sure to enter the giveaway at the end of the review!

One Small Donkey: A Christmas Story is published by Tommy Nelson and is a hardback book of 32 pages. The illustrator is Marta Alvarez Miguens and I just love the fun illustrations!

The theme of the story is that small donkeys (or people) can do great things for God. The little donkey who is the star of the story carried Mary to Bethlehem. He did a great thing by protecting her unborn child.

We can use the story to show our young children that they can be used by God as well, no matter how small they are.

The story is written in rhyme, so it’s fun to read and easy for a preschooler or early elementary child to listen to.

Enter to win One Small Donkey: A Christmas Story on the Rafflecopter app below. The winner will be chosen on December 8 and will have 24 hours to respond to my email.
