Free Online Patriotic Music Lesson:

Do your children know the great Patriotic songs of our country? As a fellow homeschool mom, I know how that sometimes these kinds of things slip through the cracks. A free Patriotic Music Lesson will really help you. That’s why I’ve opened up the Music in Our Homeschool online school–to make it easy for you! Today I offer you a Free Online Patriotic Music Lesson where you will study the following five Patriotic songs:

  • “This Land is Your Land”
  • “America, the Beautiful”
  • “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”
  • “God Bless America”
  • “Yankee Doodle”

You’ll find a description of each song, who wrote it, and when it was written. There is a video of each song so you can listen to it and sing along! An online quiz is included and a free printable. I also give suggestions on ways to dig into the lessons a little more–such as studying about some of the famous American landmarks and the wars during which these songs were sung.

  2. I did not find the ” Preview” button anywhere after signing up. 🙁

    1. It’s where you see the list of all 15 individual lessons that are in the course. It’s about halfway through the list, is labeled Patriotic Music, and has “Preview” next to it. Let me know if you still don’t see it!
      Thanks,
