Review: Mona MELisa Designs “Human Body” Peel, Play, and Learn Sticker Set
We have found another totally awesome addition to our homeschool! Today I have a review of Mona MELisa Designs “Human Body” Peel, Play, and Learn Sticker Set from Educents. It came rolled on a large sheet which can easily be stored rolled back up or stored flat.
There are over 50 stickers, including 5 “bodies,” 5 System labels (Circulatory, Muscular, Nervous, Skeletal, and Digestive), organs, bones, and other labels including some blank ones!
My boys, ages 5 and 9, were enthralled. I found a copy of the final “answers” on the Mona MELisa website and printed that out for the boys to know where to put the different stickers to build the body systems.
These stickers are amazing. They remind me of a cross between painter’s tape and cloth. They won’t mess up anything you stick them to! My boys put them on our painted wall, and it worked perfectly. They also won’t tear since they are made of fabric.
When finished, you simply place them back on the white paper they came on.
I thought of 3 fun ways to use the Mona MELisa Designs “Human Body” Peel, Play, and Learn Sticker Set:
- When you are studying each human system, have the kids “build” it with the stickers each day to remember where the parts are.
- Play a quiz game with it. Have the kids take turns drawing cards that you make that have the different parts on them and then placing the stickers on the correct body.
- Have a race. See how fast the student can put all five body systems together correctly–by memory!
Are you studying the Human Body with your kids? Here are three more products from Educents that will help you in your studies!
- Human Body Detectives: A Heart Pumping Adventure Activity Workbook and Audio CD
- Human Body Bundle from CCP Interactive
- Magic School Bus Presents: The Human Body
I highly recommend the Mona MELisa Designs “Human Body” Peel, Play, and Learn Sticker Set for all homeschools and elementary classrooms. This is an extremely useful, hands-on method of learning about the human body that all kids need to learn.
