Pinterest Challenge- New Shower Curtain

A year ago, my husband began a renovation of the kids bathroom.  The two main changes we wanted to make were to replace the carpet with tile and add a second sink.  Here are the “before” pictures.  He finished his part last year, including repainting the walls a pretty yellow/ gold color and replacing the inner door with a beautiful oak door that he finished.

 

So, my job was to do some redecorating.  The shower curtain and window valance no longer matched.  I thought blue would be a pretty contrasting color and decided to go with an ocean theme.  I found this pin on Pinterest, which inspired my design of the curtains.

I have another idea for wall decoration which will go in that big blank space next to the window, but those will have to be posted for next month’s challenge.   All my spare time crafting/ sewing for the rest of February will be focused on finishing my Quiet Book pages! I have 220 more snaps to sew on!
