Online Unit Studies are available in an online course format from Techie Homeschool Mom. They are just like other unit studies where you immerse yourself in a topic and cover a variety of subjects, except that it’s practically all online! She has done all the research for you in finding links, videos, and fun projects to do, and it’s all right there in an easy-to-use course! Some of the other Online Unit Studies include Famous Artists, U.S. Presidency, Biographies of Famous Americans, Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece, and various Holidays.

Solar System Online Unit Study

The Solar System online unit Study is awesome. There are 8 modules, with 4 lessons each. The modules are:

• Planetary Orbits
• Gravity
• Planets
• The Rocky Planets
• The Gas Planets
• Comets, Asteroids, and Meteors

But, not only are you learning about space, you are doing projects that teach you how to use Google Sheets (a free online spreadsheet tool). I love that!
