I try to keep on top of when library books are due, but it’s another one of those things that have been a little out of control lately. Last month I found this beautiful crate at a resale shop for $5! It was perfect for turning into our library book crate. I painted the side with chalkboard paint so I can easily see when the books are due. The kids are supposed to keep the books in there when they aren’t being read, and when they are being read they are to be kept in the same room (our family room)!  Hope this saves us some fines in the future!
