Review of Grapevine Studies “Birth of Jesus” Bible Study

Review of Grapevine Studies Birth of Jesus Bible Study

I have a Bible Study review and giveaway today that is perfect for Christmas!  It’s from Grapevine Studies and is about the Birth of Jesus in 7 lessons.  Let me start out by saying that my kids loved this study!

Grapevine Studies are unique because they use stick-figure drawing to help reinforce the lesson from the Bible.

For the Birth of Jesus study, we received 3 different downloads:

  1. Beginner Teacher (which gives you all the answers with drawings completed and even what to discuss with the kids, along with what to read in the Bible and look up in a Bible dictionary)
  2. Beginner Student (blank boxes and empty spots to fill in the answers)
  3. Beginner Student Traceable (boxes have the stick figure lightly drawn in gray so the kids can trace over it)

I used the Traceable version with my younger kids since they didn’t have experience drawing stick figures.  They loved it because they drew what was there and then added onto to drawing.  They did this while I was reading the lessons aloud and discussing what we read.

Here is what a Teacher Page looks like:

This Bible study would be perfect to do with your family during the upcoming advent season!  The lessons take about 15 minutes each.  The seven lessons cover Mary, Joseph, Birth of Jesus, The Shepherds, The Temple, The Wise Men, and Herod.  There is also a 42-question final review which you can choose whether you’d like to do.

If you don’t know much about how to teach your children about what’s in the Bible, this study will help you know what to say and how to do it!  If you are already very familiar with teaching about the birth of Jesus from Scripture, this study will give you a fresh technique to dig in once again!

If you’d like to purchase the Birth of Jesus Grapevine Study, be sure go to the Grapevine Studies website. They also have free samples and Bible studies for all ages for use in all different settings!  You’ll find what you’re looking for!

(Disclosure:  I received a copy of this Bible Study in ebook form in order to write this honest review.  Post also contains affiliate links.)
