Well, I was not born with the decorating gene. I have a fear of making things look bad, as well as of spending too much money. So, I need really simple ideas that are inexpensive and I know they’ll look good!

One place I try to decorate differently depending each season is my mantle. Here is what I did a couple of weeks ago.

I bought the leaf garland at joann.com and the cornucopia basket at Hallmark (a few years ago). Simple, but pretty.
