Pinterest Challenge #3: Sewing
And on to the third contest: I made some fabric headbands for my daughters. They were pretty easy, so I plan to make many more of these in the future.
Here is where I found a detailed tutorial, lots of pictures, and even a pattern to print! I made one headband the same size as the pattern and the other two shorter and narrower (for the smaller heads!).
One thing I learned from her tutorial was the technique of using the yarn and safety pin to aid in turning the fabric inside out. After all the ties I’ve made for dresses, I can’t believe I never knew that before!
