Review & Giveaway: Wonders of Creation: Illustrations to Color and Inspire
I have a gorgeous grown-up coloring book to share with you today — to review and give away! It’s called Wonders of Creation: Illustrations to Color and Inspire. It’s illustrated by Cindy Wilde and Pimlada Phuapradit and is published by Zondervan. The paperback book has 94 wonderfully illustrated animals and scenes from creation to color.
I love the size of the book. It’s 10×10 inches square. The pages are thick enough that you can color with markers and it won’t bleed through. I also enjoyed using colored pencils. There are 2 different styles throughout the book, and it’s easy to tell which illustrations were done by each of the 2 illustrators.
I think a really neat way to use this book would be during daily devotions. Read the Bible; then color some while meditating on the beauty and creativity of his creation. I found coloring in the book to be very relaxing. It was also a creative outlet as I planned which colors to use where.
There is such a variety of animals in the book to color! Here are just a few to choose from:
- Reindeer
- Penguin
- Butterfly and other insects (even those are cute!)
and so many more!
Here is an example of one of the Nature Scenes I’m still working on:
Some of the other nature scenes include forests, trees, flowers, and ponds.
I really love Wonders of Creation Coloring Book: Illustrations to Color and Inspire.
They also have available: NIV Wonders of Creation Holy Bible, Hardcover: Illustrations to Color and Inspire!
