Let’s do a Style Challenge!

In the last couple of years, I’ve been doing something called Style Challenge from Get Your Pretty On. This fall I decided to do it even more by following the prompts almost every day and posting a picture in the Facebook Group.

This group is full of wonderful encouraging ladies. We share ideas about how we’re changing up the prompts to fit what we already have in our closets or to fit the weather where we live.

We ask questions about which colors or accessories look best. Sometimes, ladies even share pictures when they’re shopping in a store to get suggestions on what to purchase!

We also share sales that we’ve found online or at particular stores.

Fall 2019 Style Challenge

I’d love to invite you to join me in the next 30-day style challenge. It starts Saturday, 10/26 (but if you’re reading after it has started, it’s ok to join late!).

How does the Style Challenge Work?

Here’s how it works.

First, you take a look at the items included challenge–several pairs of pants, several tops, several pairs of shoes, and some specific accessories such as scarves and jewelry. I usually find most of what I need in my own closet and substitute certain items, then I’ll purchase a few clothing items throughout the challenge when I find them on sale (I love Jane and Stitch Fix) or get lucky at a resale shop!

Next, you check the email you get every evening to see what the next day’s outfit is supposed to be. Or, you can print out the calendar–I keep a copy in my closet. You can also log in to the website to see all the outfits.
