Cornbread
1 1/2 c. fine cornmeal
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 1/3 c. milk or buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 eggs, beaten
3 t. baking powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. mix butter, sugar and eggs until creamy. Add to the dry ingredients and then add in egg mixture and milk and thoroughly mix. Bake in 9 x 13 dish for 25-30 minutes.
