Bead in the nose

I was resting today in bed with my sweet 6 month-old baby when I was suddenly awakened by my 4 year-old son yelling, “Mom, there’s a bead in my nose!” I must admit I didn’t handle the situation very calmly at first. But, I did call the doctor who suggested I try the “blow” technique. I covered the opposite nostril and blew into his mouth. Yeah, it worked on the first try! The great thing about this story is that I think he may have learned a lesson and won’t EVER do that again. However, there are other kids in the family. . . .
