Cranberry Apple Pie
Pastry for 2-crust pie
1 1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
dash of salt
6 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
2 cups fresh or frozen (thawed) cranberries
Mix all together and place in pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter. Cover with top pastry that has slits in it. Cover with pie shield to keep crust from burning. Put a cookie sheet under the rack to catch drips. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes.
