Many homeschoolers are quite familiar with IEW – The Institute for Excellence in Writing – and are excited to have a chance to win an IEW $50 Gift Certificate to use toward their high-quality writing (and other!) materials.     I need their info for struggling spellers and writers. I have two children who struggle. But they love to read, thankfully!

  3. I love IEW – great for helping students to organize their thoughts, find the important ideas and write coherent papers, reliably and consistently, no matter what the topic.

      I used that last year (along with the writing one) and it was a huge hit! My kids LOVED it! (and they learned a ton!)

    The Phonetic Zoo looks interesting. My only concern is that, at 15, my son will find it too juvenile.

    1. I believe that level C is for high school. There is an IEW forum. Definitely ask them!
