Why Use Online Courses in Your Homeschool
- Online courses are written by and taught by experts in the subject.
- Usually, online courses don’t require prep work by the teacher. Everything needed is right there in the course.
- Online courses can often be completed independently by the student.
- There are online courses available for every subject and every grade level!
- Kids will learn typing, app, website, and other skills they will need to know for the future.
- It frees the homeschool mom up to focus one-on-one with another child, focus on her job, or focus on other essential work around the home.
- Some online courses take care of giving tests and quizzes, grading them, and keeping the grades!

What Online Courses are we using this year?
For all the reasons above, we are using quite a few online courses this year in our homeschool. I have 6 kids I’m still homeschooling, in grades 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th.
