Pecan Pie
Pastry for 9-inch pie
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup corn syrup
1/2 t. salt
3 large eggs
1 cup pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat sugar, butter, corn syrup, salt, vanilla and eggs in a medium bowl. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry-lined pie plate. Bake 40-50 minutes until center is set.
