Stop SB 136

Earlier this week my husband and oldest son made a trip to Springfield, Illinois.  Our homeschooling freedoms were close to being taken away, and 4000 homeschoolers went there to make their presence known that we don’t need the state’s “help.”   And, even a simple thing like registering our homeschool with the state is unacceptable.  Why?  Listen to this truancy officer on this Youtube video to see why!

Praise God the bill wasn’t voted on during the hearing on Tuesday.  And yesterday, the bill was tabled.  So, we’re safe for a little while. . . .
