Botanic Gardens

One of my favorite places to go is the Chicago Botanic Gardens.  They are absolutely beautiful!  We go every year, but haven’t been to the Model Railroad Garden in a few years (because there is an extra fee).  This year we went and had a lot of fun with it.  My 3 yo, especially, loves trains!  They have built models of many different buildings and places throughout the US, so we had fun figuring out which ones we had seen, studied, or never even heard of before!  They had the “Old Faithful” geyser going off and even Mount St. Helens erupting (just with steam and sound, no lava).   My kids always like to pick up the Bingo game.  They look for different items in the Gardens and put a sticker on when they find it.
