Bunny Face Pancakes Recipe
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 1 bunny face pancake
Bunny Face Pancakes Ingredients:
- About 1 cup prepared pancake batter (any kind you like)
- 1 banana
- 1 strawberry
- 4 blueberries
- Edible black writing gel or melted chocolate chips (optional, for the bunny’s smile)
Bunny Face Pancakes Directions:
Prepare your pancake batter according to the instructions on the box or your favorite homemade recipe.
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and pour the batter to form one round pancake. Cook until golden on both sides.
While the pancake cooks, slice one round piece of banana for the bunny’s nose area. Cut the remaining banana in half lengthwise for the ears.
Slice a strawberry in half to form the bunny’s bowtie.
Place the cooked pancake on a plate and begin assembling the face.
Position the banana halves at the top as ears, angling them slightly outward.
Add the round banana slice to the middle of the pancake for the mouth area and place a blueberry on top for the nose.
Use two blueberries above the nose to make eyes.
If desired, draw on a mouth with edible black gel or a drizzle of melted chocolate chips.
Finish by placing the strawberry halves and an extra blueberry below the pancake to resemble a sweet little bowtie.
This breakfast is not only adorable but also packed with fruit and fun. Your kids will love helping you make it—and eat it!
