Harvest Time

My husband just called me in from the garden to tell me the potatoes are coming up!  I thought they were lost for sure.  I’ve been having so much fun collecting the fruit of my labor (which really hasn’t been much labor from me–more from my husband).  I’ve gotten about 10 cucumbers and many more are coming. I’ve found some some cucumber recipes off the web and will try some soon.  There have been some yummy sugar snap peas (but the rabbits got most of those plants), lettuce, green beans and raspberries.  Soon we’ll have some ears of corn and carrots (if the rabbits don’t get them first), cantaloupe, grapes and watermelons.  The tomatoes and pumpkins are growing like gangbusters–ready to take over the yard.  Pictures to come soon.
