Just Give Me Jesus
Yesterday I had the privilege to sing “Just Give Me Jesus” at church. I love that song! It's so beautiful and worshipful. Years ago (I think I was pregnant with my first) I attended a conference and heard Anne Graham Lotz (Billy Graham's daughter) give a moving recitation about the theme of “Just Give Me Jesus.” Fernando Ortega was there with a cellist and sang the song as well. I'll never forget it!

Most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. I read the book on a flight from back from Kenya on a mission trip one month after 9/11 and in the back of the book was the CD. I pulled it out and put it in my portable CD player & listened to it sitting at a window seat high above the clouds & heard it for the first time. I saw Gods beauty in the clouds & I reflected at all the lives in Kenya that gave their heart to the Lord & what a blessing it was to be apart of it. It was the most beautiful moment I experienced as if God was giving me a present (I know that sounds silly) for obeying Him by saying YES to flying to Kenya after decades of being terrified to fly on a plane, especially after 9/11. The moment will live in my heart forever.
