The buzzing of the baby monitors. My girls are both sleeping. The boys are outside with Daddy–so it's quiet!

About 5:30 pm–I ran outside to cover the sandbox because it started sprinkling.

A few minutes ago as I was putting my 2 yo daughter to bed. She makes me laugh all the time!

“Paintings” by my kids, Bible verses we're memorizing, phonograms for phonics practice, calendars
13. Seen anything weird lately?
A beetle in the clothes basket as we were folding yesterday.

My husband and I watched Gettysburg a couple of weeks ago.
16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy?
A retirement package for my mom so she can quit her work, support for many of the missionaries we know. I'm sure I can come up with a lot more ideas–I'd have to think about it.
As a child I lived in Libya, Holland and Alaska. I grew up in El Paso, Texas.
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Make it possible that the aid that many want to give can reach those who need it (i.e. their governments would let it in and logistics wouldn't be a problem).

Dora and her friends in the rainforest… My husband’s computer playing music upstairs.

Around 2:45 when we came home from lunch and errands

Not sure but I know it’s been a few times today. A generally good family day together

A map of the US, photos of our family a Dinosaurs poster, artwork by my kids, a poster of Soldier Field with fireworks, a poster my daughter made of her numbers and Dora

I was watching Batman Begins last night but went to bed before finishing it

I would payoff all debts and buy a minivan. Then give the rest to my family and church.

I lived in the same house my entire life until I got married at 21.
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Only one thing, that’s hard to chose. The first thing that came to mind seems so small when thinking whole world. I can’t decide.
19. Do you like to dance? Yes! My kids and I do it together all the time and my DH and I are currently taking Ballroom dance classes!

?? My second was named Anastasia. If I had named our first child on our own, I liked Abigail but we had a boy and my DH didn’t like that name!

My tattoo a pixie. It was hard to find a modest pixie but I insisted that she had to be dressed conservatively. I eventually found (and modified) one that was suitable. When she was complete, she actually looked like me… so I guess I have me tattooed on my ankle.
