Astronomy Textbook for Studying Outer Space
If you want to study space all year (we are doing this for the second time now!), I highly recommend Jeannie Fulbright’s Exploring Creation with Astronomy for grades K-6. Experiments/projects, journaling notebook, and lapbook materials all available!

Field Trip:
We took an awesome field trip to the Adler Planetarium in Chicago! What a wonderful place for kids to explore and learn more about space.

And here are pictures of our lapbook: For this lapbook, we drew and cut out pictures from various books and workbooks and included photos from our field trip. I also used some materials from Hands of a Child.
