Evan-Moor Workbooks for Homeschool
Recently, I received the following Evan-Moor workbooks (from the Carson Dellosa site) to use with my 8th grader:
- Financial Literacy Lessons and Activities
- Daily Paragraph Editing: Student Workbook Grade 8
- Daily Paragraph Editing: Teacher Resource Book Grade 8

Financial Literacy Lessons and Activities
For example, the Financial Literacy Lessons and Activities resource teaches 6th-8th graders all about how to purchase at a store, earn money at a job (including taxes), make and follow a budget, and use a bank.
And, yes, LOTS of useful math is included. Perfect!
They even learn about buying, maintaining, repairing and insuring a car; using money in other countries; and investing for retirement.
The answers are included in the back of the workbook.
Paragraph Editing Workbook from Evan-Moor
The Evan-Moor workbooks are available for ages PreK – 8th grade, and cover a huge variety of subjects.
The next one we worked on was for Language Arts, specifically paragraph editing. This one came with a student workbook and a teacher book with the answers–making it super easy to check her work.
It's nice that it's just a paragraph at a time, which means I can easily add it to our already busy weekly schedule!
