I have to admit that when we started planning my son’s 5th birthday party a couple of weeks ago, it wasn’t even on my radar that the Minions movie was coming out. Nevertheless, it came about that we had a Minion Birthday Party!
First, my daughter found some cupcakes on a Youtube video she said she wanted to make–and they were Minions.
Then, my kids bought my son a Minion hat as a present.
Then, my husband bought a Minion balloon for the party.
And, then he received a couple of other Minion presents!
Enjoy the pictures of my youngest son’s 5th Minion Birthday Party!
The adorable Minion cupcakes! My 11-year-old daughter made these all by herself.
The Star Pinata:
If I had planned ahead I would have gotten a Minion pinata.
Fun twistable balloons my kids made as party favors:
Some other awesome presents:
Color Wonder Mess-Free Fingerpaints:
Minion Jacket and Minion Hat! It’s so funny how he’s wearing both at the same time. 🙂
And, finally, he received a Build-a-Minion, which reminds me of Mr. Potato Head.
What fun themes of birthday parties have you had?

What fun! We had a minion party last year, and the kids loved it!
I think those minion cupcakes are so much fun 🙂 Minions are big around our house right now too! Our two most recent themed birthdays have been Barbie and Pokemon. We also had a Batman themed birthday party last winter.
I love the minion cupcakes! Your daughter did a great job. 🙂
