The easiest way to learn Spanish is to do it learn it when you are young (age 9 or under) and to do it through immersion. I know what you’re thinking. “I don’t have time to add one more thing to our already full homeschool schedule!” Or is that just me? 🙂
That’s why I’m glad I found Foreign Languages for Kids By Kids. All my kids do is sit and watch the videos. They are mostly in Spanish, so the kids are getting the “immersion” experience. And they love the stories acted out by these talented kids!
I highly recommend you give it a try. You can try it for free to see if you and your kids like it. We have watched all the videos they have available so far; it took us about 6 months. And now I’d like my kids to start at the beginning and do it again. They need to keep hearing the Spanish so they can get more comfortable with it and learn even more!
In addition to the videos, Foreign Languages for Kids by Kids also has online workbooks full of fun activities such as word finds, matching, secret messages, unscramble the words, crossword puzzles, grammar and idiom lessons, circle the right answer, write sentences, and click the right picture. They even have some geography and culture lessons in the Online Workbook to learn about Spanish-speaking countries, food, animals, landmarks, etc.
On our 2nd time through the videos, we’ll be doing all the online workbooks, quizzes, and games available. This is the easiest way to learn Spanish!
(Disclosure: I have received a free trial of Foreign Languages for Kids in order to write this and other honest reviews. This post contains affiliate links.)
This is awesome! I want to start teaching my 5-year-old Spanish but have no idea where to start and felt overwhelmed when I began looking at resources!! 🙂
Oh, good. I think you’ll love it!
